Volvo owners appreciate their key fob's convenient remote features. They can lock and unlock their vehicle as well as start the motor and even find it using the smartphone app.

You can remove it by sliding it downwards and to the right. The cover will come loose, and then slide off, revealing the manual blade! If you're unable to locate the button, take a look around the newly revealed manual key access to find a hidden lever or slot.

One of the lesser-known features on Volvo key fobs is that they allow you to close all windows immediately when you use the fobs. This is a great feature when you are trying to squeeze into parking spaces that are tight or just want to breathe fresh air while driving.

Press and hold the unlock button on your Volvo remote control for four seconds. This will lower all of the windows, and also the sunroof if it has one. After that, once you're done driving you can lock everything by pressing the lock button once more for four seconds.

You can also use the key fob to activate your car's panic alarm. This will emit a loud, attention-grabbing blare that will frighten off thieves and allow you to return home safe after a long night out.
